Privacy Policy

The short version

PlanBox is a planning sandbox. By default everything you enter stays in your own browser. If you create an account, your email address and your plan data are stored in our database so they can sync across your devices. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Data stored in your browser

Without an account, your plan (ages, incomes, outgoings, events, settings such as the theme) is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Data stored if you create an account

• Your email address, used to sign you in and nothing else.
• Your plan data and scenarios, stored with our database provider (Supabase) so they can sync across devices. Access is restricted to your account.

We do not collect names, addresses, bank details, or any information about real accounts you hold. The figures you type in are hypothetical planning inputs.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled they are privacy-friendly and cookie-less (aggregate page counts only); they cannot identify you.

Where your data lives

The site is served by Cloudflare. Account data is held by Supabase. Both act as our processors; we do not share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your data

Without an account: clear your browser storage. With an account: contact us and we will delete your account and all synced data.
